God Sees The Whole Big Picture

God Sees the Whole Big Picture

Many times I don’t even begin to understand God. I have called out to Jesus time and time again only for God to answer me different than what I prayed for. We can’t see the whole picture, but God sees everything. We just need to be faithful, seeking Jesus, and calling out to Him for help. He will bring everything to pass for His glory in due time.

Jesus, I’m sorry for not trusting You. I pray you give me the strength to focus on you and not just the storm I am going through. See me through this as you can see the whole view and I can not. Teach me your ways that I will not sin against you. In your holy name I pray to You, Jesus, Amen.

The Colors Through God’s Eyes

When I look at the colors of the leaves in the Autumn months I am mesmerized by the intensity of hues. The bright reds, the blazing oranges, and beautiful yellows. When I lived in Pennsylvania I tended to take this for granted as I say this all the time. It wasn’t until I moved to a more urban area of Southern California with fewer trees that I longed for the colors of changing trees in Fall. But still I didn’t realize or think about what it takes for those colors to come like they do. You see it takes the leaves dying to start the process of the colors changing on the leaves. And that’s how it is in our life with God. It’s not until we die to our own sinful desires by repenting and asking Jesus to forgive that we start to become a beautiful people. Only a person in Jesus can become full of color. That’s the potential of color that God had in his eyes when came to earth as Jesus to give his life up as a perfect sacrifice for our sin.

Jesus, I give you all of me. Change my selfish desires so I can be more like you. Forgive me for my sins I ask today. Thank you for giving your life in exchange for my life. In your name I pray to you, Jesus, Amen.

There’s Always a Beautiful View For Us

In the wilderness of life you find yourself wondering what is there that’s good anymore. Maybe a loved one passed away or is terribly sick, a close friend betrayed you, or financially you could be losing everything you worked so hard for. Life can beautiful one moment, and next moment kick you in the stomach and leave gasping for air. In fact Jesus himself, the One and only true God, dealt with horrific circumstance. But because of Jesus, one day we will see Paradise and it will look even much better than this mountain view. We are only temporarily here and we will live eternity somewhere else, be it hell because we did not choose Jesus’ Way, or Heaven because we chose Jesus’ Way. I’ve had my share of pain, but I choose to seek Jesus who has all the answers and peace for my weary soul.

Jesus, be with everyone that is struggling today. Be their guide and their source of peace as they seek You. I desire to have more of your Spirit and not live for y own selfish desires. I choose to place you at the front of my life even when I experience persecution for your name sake. In your name I pray to you, Jesus, Amen.

Sometimes Broken Pieces Produce Fruit

Why is it that you never so well as when make a poor choice? Or how is it that you realize how good something was until you lost it? It’s just our sin nature to only care about ourselves until we realize how wrong we were and our life is broken like the photo above. When I am broken I can take my focus off myself and stop being selfish. You see sometimes you need to become broken in order for God to bring the good fruit out of your life, just like the orange peels above. So if you’re broken and your heart is hurt, look to Jesus and ask Him to use your hurt to bless someone else. I was never able to love and show grace for someone that was divorced, until I went through a divorce, myself. There’s so many people you can bless if you take the time to ask Jesus who is broken around you. Start talking to others and show Jesus’ love.
