Dear Lord, I never realized that a broken heart is so painful. Every moment is a struggle. Every part of my body aches. Why did I trust her too much? Why did I give her my whole heart? If this is a punishment for the pains that I have caused others before, then I truly deserve this. But please, remove the pain at a certain point. I don’t want to be a broken man, with almost nothing left in me to keep on living. I know that her coming back would lift me up but if this is not going to happen, please grant me the strength to live on and the wisdom to know what to do to ease and remove the pain. Please guide her with your grace that she may always choose to do what is right in your eyes. Please don’t allow her to go astray. I wish that she’ll have a good life through your grace. I need you Lord. I have been out of work for over three months and am in desperate need of a job. I changed my phone service because it was about to be cut off. I am about to have my gas cut off, and my home is heated by gas. For the first time in my live, I have had to go to a food giveaway program. I have applied to receive food stamps. If my gas gets cut off and I have no money to get it back on and/or keep it on, I fear that I will have to move out and be homeless. Father God, you say in your Word to ask and you will receive. I believe that if I take one step You will take two. I am applying for jobs everyday, but have not been granted one interview. I am trusting and believing that You will send the right job to me. I am thanking you in advance Lord in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord. Amen and Amen.

Dear god, I know there is people out there alot worse off then me. Also you might find me lazy.I just haven’t got that push in me and I really wish I did. I can be awful shy at times and even more so theses days because I’ve been alone for a while now and I really wish something happened in my life that got me out of this huge bubble I’m in. You are right to ask God for help. He is the one to turn to. I would suggest going to your local library and see if there is a reading/tutor program offered to help you learn to spell and brush up on your grammar. You need to be able to write intelligently in order to secure a decent job.
As far as being lazy, why do you think you’re lazy? Maybe you just need to find a job that you LOVE. What do you love? Can you turn that passion into something that pays?

Get Dad into financial counseling immediately. There are so many things they can do to help him: he can possibly re-structure his payments so they are lower; he might be able to get a lower interest rate; he might be able to get some of his debt “forgiven”; and they might be able to counsel him on wise decisions (and possibly investments) in the future. Good luck! (Don’t wait. Pick up the phone now and make that appointment…then make sure he goes, and then follows through on the advice.)

I am so lost at this point in my life. I am 26, a single mom of 3 kids, out of a job, in school full time, and I just need help! I feel so lost, and don’t even know what I want out of life. I really just need to get through these hard times, and need some direction. It is hard to find a job, and pay the bills with no support. As far as finding someone to love, so far no one is worthy of my love, if they can’t love my kids too. My ex-husband has nothing to do with my kids, and as a mom I just can’t understand how someone can walk away. I am so lost, please help me.
First of all, forget your ex and don’t even think about finding a “love” right now. God has a plan and when it’s meant to be for you, it will happen. Trust me.
As far as your job, I admire you for going to school full-time but you have children and they are your first responsibility so you may have to put off your education for a few years. How old are they? If they are preschool or younger, you may have to wait until they are in school full-time to go to school full-time yourself.
Can you enlist the help of your mother with the children?
Can you go to school part-time and work part-time? (I know that if your children are preschool then it probably doesn’t pay for you to work part-time as the money will simply pay for the sitter.)
You can also see if the school offers a counselor that you can speak to about your problems. Even if they can’t help you, they may be able to give you some people who can.
Are you eligible for food stamps and/or welfare? They are programs that are in place to help people in your situation. I was a young, single mom with one child and no financial help and no one told me that I could (a) get child support and (b) possibly get some type of government financial aid until I was able to get on my feet.

You are 20 and taking care of your younger brothers and sisters?? Please email me immediately and I will see what I can do to help! You need help with this situation. If you don’t email me, then you need some type of support system. Do you get food stamps and/or welfare? They are there for people in your situation. You could also call in the Department of Social Services and apply to be the “foster parent” of your younger brothers and sisters. This would provide you with a monthly stipend for each of the children. You would have to become a “foster parent” first, and this means taking 9 weeks of classes, once a week, which would be totally worth it in the end. Plus, once you’re a foster parent, they offer free support classes and a support group. You will also meet other people in similar situations. Call your local Department of Social Services and ask for the foster care division.

The good Lord will surely give him peace, the book said whatever we want we profess with our own mouth and it shall be bind him heaven. Lord touch this child, children are heritage from You and it does not please you to see them in pain so therefore God saturate this child with You spirit in Jesus’ name.
Has he been sexually molested? I would, first of all, make him feel extremely safe and secure. Then, being non-judgmental, ask him if anyone has touched his privates and to tell you the truth. Sometimes children will still say “No” even when they want to say yes. Sometimes children have been threatened and they’ve been told that if they “tell,” then something bad will happen to their family, etc.
If the answer is no, then you need to take him to a counselor because it could be something happening at school, or a divorce, or even a chemical imbalance.

I pray for the Lord to search Marks heart and if it be Gods will that he bring Mark and I back together. I trust the Lord and know that his answers are always good and perfect.
I am feeling really low right now and I need the Creator of Heaven and earth to come and help my situation because I am lost in emotions. I need my man to come home because my daughter and I miss him dearly. It has been hard to eat and sleep and on top of this, we are cry a lot. Sometimes, I feel like the Lord hears me, but don’t want to answer me and this makes me really sad. Please Lord I need you now more than ever.
Where is your man? If he is serving in the armed forces, that’s one thing. If he is with another woman, you are worth more than that and you need to move on to someone who is worthy of you.
As far as your daughter, two things:
Do not be too emotional in front of her because this puts the burden on her to see you sad.
If your husband is with another right now and you take him back, it will not be a healthy relationship and this will effect your daughter’s entire future and her relationship with men. Do right by her and choose a good, trustworthy man who she can look up to as a role model.

You may have to consider applying for aid through social services, whether it be welfare and/or food stamps, but that’s what the program was designed for: to help others in their time of need.
Just remember, no matter what your trials are, from joblessness and your father’s cancer, you will come out on the other end of this stronger, from learning as you go through.

It is easy to lose your self-confidence when you have small children, especially twins! But you can hang in there!! The stresses of children (again, especially twins!) can be hard on a marriage. Is there someone you can leave the children with once a week or once every other week and have a “date night” with your husband? It can be something as simple as taking a walk together. You need to always remember why you liked each other in the first place and keep that part of your relationship alive. Oh, and while you’re on your “date,” the rule is…no talking about the kids!! You could even plan a sensual evening in. That closeness might be something that you and your man could use right now. Men are so strange, sometimes…sometimes they feel like they have to compete with their children for their wife’s attention, don’t ask me why. They’re in a totally different catagory but don’t seem to realize that sometimes! Good luck in this. Don’t give up easily…fight for your marriage!
As far as your self control and self confidence, some type of hobby outside the house and away from the kids, even if it’s once a week for an hour at the library taking a class, can help you get your self confidence back. And self control…just don’t hit the kids, whatever you do. You will live to regret it and it accomplishes nothing. If the kids drive you crazy sometimes and you feel like you’re losing it, have a DVD back-up put away somewhere and use it to keep them busy and then go take a bubble bath. If all else fails, lock yourself in the bathroom when you’re losing it, and simply count to ten. Throw cold water on your face, and come out smiling. Sometimes something as easy as separating the kids can keep them from fighting and can preserve your sanity.

You have prayed the perfect prayer. You have said that if it is not God’s will to bring your husband back, then give you the strength to accept that. The fact that you even said that shows you have enough strength to handle it if that’s the way it’s going to go. You will get through this part of your life and you will survive with flying colors, no matter which way it goes. Just remember that your actions and reactions right now, to the situation, is teaching your daughter how to pattern HER emotions for her adult life, so make sure that you do not put too much of an emotional burden on her. Take your grief to a counselor and try to protect her childhood. She could probably also use a counselor to sort out her feelings. Good luck and God bless you all.

What do you absolutely LOVE to do? Make a list of all your favorite things. Then try to find a part-time job that has some of these things. Do you love to bake? How about a part-time job at a bakery? Do you love to make quilts? How about working at a sewing place? Etc. You can work part-time at something that won’t make you tire…because you will love going to work…and this alone will energize you. AND you can still spend time with your grandkids! Good luck! I’m sure the perfect solution is on its way as I write!
