I am in a bad situation right now. My husband wants out even though he says that I am a good wife. I do not have a high school education but believe I was given this job by you 6 1/2 years ago to prove that I was capable of doing it without a grade 12 certificate. I have done so for so many years. I am thankful for everything I have right now in my life…my family, my health, my apartment and my job. Father God help me get through the stresses I life as a result of my divorce 11yrs ago. I loved my ex-wife. We had been together for 20 years, married for 13 of those, have 3 children. She decided that she no longer loved me and despite anything I could do or say, she filed for divorce. I almost committed suicide. I was totally devastated. Then, one night, in the pit of despair, I finally let go, I realized that I could not fix this and that I had to accept what was happening. I stopped asking God to take this terrible situation away, but to take my hand instead and take me through it. It was very difficult, but God showed me and reminded me that I was at complete rock bottom and that there was no where to go from that lowly place but up. I have forgiven my ex-wife for the pain she caused to me, ( though I admit it was very difficult to so), and I hope I am forgiven by her for any pain I may have caused her. My point is this, since I have trusted God to help me, he has sent a beautiful christian woman into my life. Her situation was very much like mine. I can actually remember thinking that I couldn’t believe how happy I felt because of her healing love. We have been married for a little over 3 years now and I’m so thankful to God. Have faith Maree, let your pain go and give it God. He is big enough to carry it for you.
I pray to you Lord that you will assist me in finding a new place to live. My current rental home is being sold and I need desperately to find a place to live for myself and my dogs. I try not to ask for things for myself, but in this instance, I pray for a decent, affordable place to live with your help and direction. It’s silly I’m talking to you through a computer when you are right beside me but i need to let it out.
