I am praying this day for the safe return of my child’s father in our lives. My first prayer is that the God of heaven and earth will open his heart and mind to believe in His word and find his way back to the family that he has created. I pray that Lord above will touch him in a way that he will know where he truly belongs. I sit up constantly thinking about him and the mistakes that were made between the both of us. The amount of suffering on this page needs to be aleviated. I am in the process of divorce from my wife of 26 years and I to suffer as all of you are, however; I do not feel asking god to restore my marraige is as important as asking god to give strength and courage and the ability to live in the moment, to survive, and to carry on smartly. We cannot live our spouses lives or decide for them. We can love each other. We can exact our own actions toward justice. We can know ourselves. Praying for our loves to return to us is secondary to praying for his intervention and blessings upon both of us. I want my wife and my marraige, but I want happiness, joy, and peace for us both before my marraige. Be good for yourself so you can be good for others. The decisions we need to make as we live every next moment arent easy. But they can be made. Base your decisions on greater good for all.

When we make a marriage vow, it is to stick by each other in the good and in the bad. Sometimes, that means we have to overlook our own happiness in order for our spouse and family’s happiness to be preserved. Sometimes, we can not stop the divorce. It’s only after we have gone through the long lasting pain of divorce do we learn how to be better to our spouse, but sometimes it is too late and at the horrible cost to our spouse and children. I’m talking from experience as I know I could have been a better husband and father. Never make yourself out to be the number one person all the time for your own happiness. It just leads to a very lonely life. I am blessed in that God has blessed me beyond measure, even though I do not deserve what He has given me. I hope that someone out there contemplating divorce reconsiders and finds a way to win their spouse’s heart back.

My husband(Sello) is been having this relationship with this promiscous woman, she got pregnant and said the baby is my husband’s,but he refused that. Liz I will pray for your pain. I too am experiencing the same torture. My husband of 15 years left my thr children and I, and moved 2000 miles away. The hurt is horriable, and it feels like your the only one in the world going through this. I look for signs, and reasons everyday. Unfortunately I am in the same boat as you ladies are. My husband left me 4 months ago. Begging him to come home didn’t work no matter how hard I tried. He says he still loves me and is IN love with me but he wants to hang out in bars and be free. I know eventually his chosen path will be his downfall and I will be here waiting with forgiving and loving arms. The same way Jesus never gives up on us as his children.
So I have given it up to God and simply pray FIRST that my husband can come to know Him first and then God will lead him home to his loving wife. Ask God to do the impossible. Pray everyday for God to speak to your husband’s hearts. They will come around if you pray everyday..let them be. God can draw them to us. You must be patient and believe. I pray we all get our husbands back. Fear not and live in total faith. God hears us and He has mysterious ways in making things come together. Just always ask “In the name of Jesus” bring my husband back. He will fight our battles if we trust him. Some battles are not meant for us to fight. I believe it’s just a matter of time. If our husbands truly love us they will do a 360. They don’t want to feel pushed into doing it. Come on ladies..we know this (wink). Let them think they are free and soon they will realize who the only woman who will always love him unconditionally is..You.
Call them once in awhile and be friendly but don’t beg. Friendship has to be re-established and then trust will come back and before you know it..he’s back in your life. Sometimes it just take a little longer than we expect, but it will happen in God’s time.
Here is a story I will share that may bring more encouragement. I have an Aunt and Uncle who divorced for about 10 or more years only to remarry again. As a child I always saw how they were meant for each other and was sad they were apart. I always believe in love. If you believe then it will be so but you must ask through God always. Please keep in touch. If we form a prayer circle it will bring even more strength and maybe a quicker resolution for us all.There is power in prayer and God will be pleased that we are caring for each other. Right now I am feeling so down and hurt, at all the hateful things and names that have been said to me and are being said to me almost everyday. It has made me feel so depressed I know I have played my part in things turning this way, but only you Lord know why I did what I did. I felt lonely, unwanted and unattractive. And chatting online was a means of escape from reality. I know I was wrong and cannot undo what I did but it hurts me when I am treated like dirt all the time by my husband. Its been over 5 years since all this happened And long before all this I know he has been unfaithful as I found condoms in his briefcase and also another similar incident when he was working abroad.
