Do you feel like time is rushing by and you’re just on the sideline watching as the world keeps going? Well, time does continue to fly on and it’s important that we take the time to reflect and think on what is really important in life. Just like clouds that are continually moving, so is time. You are only granted a limited time on this earth and you need to make it count. But for who does it need to count? Your life needs to be one of service to God and one of the best ways we serve God is by serving others. We do this in a holy manner. Whatever is pleasing to God we do for others. When we are on our deathbed I’m sure we will not be thinking about our job, cars, and house, but instead we will be thinking about our loved ones and what we have done to love theme and serve them for the glory of God. Make a difference today in someone’s life. You may not have money, but you can give them some quality time listening to them and their hardships or victories. Rejoice with those that rejoice and cry with those that cry. Be a strong refuge for someone today as God is your refuge. Point them to the only secure peace we have in this world and that is the hope of salvation in Jesus Christ, the incarnate flesh of God. He is the living God and He desires your time.

Dear Jesus, change my heart and affections toward you. Teach me to humbly serve others for your glory and to make a positive difference in someone’s life today. Let it be for you and you alone that I love people. Thank you for your goodness and everlasting love. Thank you that you made a way for me to serve you and be free from sin. I desperatley pray that Jordan and I can be happy together for a long time. I pray that our relationship is successful and that we can grow together both as a copule and as individuals. I pray that we grow closer together within the next few days and weeks and I pray that we are able to spend part of the holiday together. I pray that Jordan takes real inititative in our relationship and that he learns to appreciate me for who I am and what I can offer him. God, this prayer isn’t for myself, it’s for my dearest friend. I wish for them to find their dream job because they just lost their job and now she is moving 4 hours away to work 4 p.m – 12 a.m for practically a minimum wage. She’s over 80 thousand dollars in debt from college and it breaks my heart to see someone who worked so hard to be top of her class with a degree not be able to fulfill her potential and be happy. My prayer request is… one that involves a decision that is going to be very hard for me to make. That decision involves whether to continue to let a situation escalate. I really care about a guy that I know. He is single, and I think that he likes me back. (Don’t worry! I am single, too. Haha) Part of me wants to hold on to him and never let him go, because he is a great guy… and God calls both of us, I feel (as He calls each of His sheep) – He has gone to school to become a pastor… But part of me knows that God is really calling me to something and that that something does not involve having and raising my own children. Who knows? Maybe he will never want children either, but I know that that is not the only issue. Perhaps He is calling me to celibacy – I have a desire to follow His will no matter what it asks of me – and I want to do my best to enable this to happen, because I know that He is doing so much to make it happen, too. Anyway, in the Bible, Jesus called Mary “mother” to protect her from pain when she would lose him. I want to protect this guy .. to lead him on and then change my mind and decide that I want to be celibate would be cruel. That would not be love. That would be selfishness. But at the same time, I struggle with wanting to be with him. Worry that I am missing out, even though I know in the back of my mind it would not matter – I am not living for this world but the next. I guess my prayer request is that God’s will would be done, and.. that He would show me what decision I must make, and if that decision involves celibacy, show me how to disentangle myself from this before it gets worse. If it be His will, I just pray that He would make the decision for me. I want to leave this up to him… I don’t want to make the decision. I will better be able to accept something from Him than I will be able to accept any decision I would make, because then I would go through doubts and regrets, and that would get in the way of His beautiful plan. Please pray for guidance and that God would work in this situation to match it to whatever His will may be. Please pray that He protects me from temptation, and Satan’s lies, so that I can see His truth and not regret whatever decision. Because I could see potential regrets on both sides. It is ONLY because of God’s grace, mercy and my faith in Jesus, that we are were we are today, I hope to hear from you soon to witness and testify of Jesus more.

I applied for Disability back in July for my Husband, The Social Security office had lost all our papers for 5 months, we had to re-submit it 3 times,even go down there, and they copied them off and lost them again.. I wrote a letter to our local Senator regarding all the problems we have had with the Kissimmee office. My husband is an invalid, can barely walk,Had a stroke back in June 09…. We need this to process quickly,we need medical help for him that we can not get without SS to come thru…. they told us today, it would be another 3 months. We are living on one income, and I do not make enough to cover the house payment.
Also my husband Don needs salvation, He turned his back on God 29 years ago when his brother died. Don hardened his heart toward the Lord. But little by little God is working on him. I just believe he will come in full circle and trust in the Lord again. Acts 16:31

I have had the hardest year of my life. Everything I have had has been taken from me. My home of 20 years, my job of 11 years. I understand how worried you are, but trust me…there is life after losing your home. I have not watched tv, slept in my own bed, used my own pots and pans, or dishes, or any of the familiarities of life in 14 months. God HAS provided for me though. God tells us not to worry about our bills, or our next meal….He feeds all of the animals, how much more does He Love us…? I don’t know what’s happening to people anymore, but I have had a dear friend suddenly, and without cause turn his back on me, and has completely ignored me for over a year. He is lost, filled with false Pride, Vanity, and Lust. He is gorgeous, rich, and has been given things most of us will never have. I suffer, having lost everything, and he prospers and frolics on Facebook fornicating and hurting others who care for him. His name is Ronnie….would someone have the heart to join with me and lift his name to our Lord…that God would dispatch His ministering angels to Ronnie, that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart of his deadly earthly ways, that God would send His warriors into Ronnie’s path. That God would break his false pride, bring him to his knees in repentance.
Would someone also pray that God would heal our friendship? That God would vindicate the thousands and thousands of tears I have shed over this matter..?
