Today, I woke up and had an argument with my wife. It was silly. You see, for some reason, I’m a morning person and my wife, well, she’s not a morning person. This is normally a great setup. I’ll end up having some time alone in the morning, while she is catching up on much needed sleep. Sometimes, she has trouble sleeping at night, so the morning is a good time for her to sleep. This morning, as usual, I was up working on my websites. And she was sleeping. I took care not to be noisy on the computer this morning, but she is such a light sleeper that I woke her up. She was upset that I woke her up, and I was upset that I had to go out of the room to let her sleep, so this morning it did not go as planned. I got my feelings hurt and I drove out to the park to get away. At the park, on a Monday morning, it’s very quiet. It’s such a contrast to Sunday evening. On the weekend, there’s so many people here. This morning I have been simply soaking in all of the beautiful scenery of the park and I noticed, for the first time, all of the trash left behind from everyone the day before. In the pond and streams there’s trash. Near the grills and picnic table there’s trash. From a distance the surface of the water is beautiful, but once you look beneath the surface, the water is full of trash left by many people over the years. It’s funny I have been coming to this park for almost 10 years and I never noticed the trash until now.
This is a type of allegory of my life and in some ways it may resemble your life in part, too. From a distance it appears like I’m the perfect example of a good person, but once you go deeper there’s a lot of trash that pollutes my life and the life of others. I’m selfish. I take advantage of others’ love. I’m just in it for myself. I put my desires before the desires of others. This reminds me of how God looks at us and what we should be mindful of. In 1 Samuel 16:7 God tells Samuel, “For the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart”. Let us not be concerned about so much how we appear on the outside, but us go deeper and fulfill God’s purpose for us by being who God wants us to be. I’m not saying that our outward appearance is not important, but that we can become a selfish god unto ourselves if we do not change our heart towards the desires of God’s heart. Just as people abused the blessing of the park by leaving their trash everywhere, that was how I abused the blessing of my wife by taking her for granted and not thinking of her needs before mine. Let us not abuse the blessing that God has given us with people around us and His salvation. Rather, let us be a blessing to others around us, putting them first and ourselves second. Don’t abuse the blessing God has given you.
PRAYER: Jesus, today, I give you all of my life and blessings. Teach me to value and love the people and many blessings you have given me. Teach me to not be concerned about superficial matters but rather let me be concerned with the condition of my spiritual heart. I worship you, Jesus, my savior, and give you my desires for your glory. In your perfect name I pray today, Jesus, Amen.

My mother lays in a hospital bed hundreds of miles away from in horrible pain. I’m sad that I can’t be with her. This cancer has taken over her body! Lord I cry for her because she’s in such pain and she’s doubting you Lord. She doesn’t think you love her. Lord I ask of you to heal her. Rid her body of this cancer! Lord, I asked of three things. You’ve provided me with a better paying job and given me a special man. Now I just ask that my third blessing be granted. Be with my father and keep him strong! We need help with the bills. You’ve given us a another blessing by helping us come up with $1200 to pay the health insurance. LORD I ASK OF YOU TO HEAL MY MOTHER! I’M CRYING INSIDE AND OUT, YOU ARE THE TRUE HEALER! PLEASE LORD HEAR MY CRY FOR HELP!

I want to pray for every person with Autism. Lord set them free from this bondage. You created us in your image. We have a voice to share our thoughts. We can reason, we can let things go, we can speak our mind, we wait for things patiently, we can cope with our situation at hand, we have words to share with people telling our basic wants and needs, we have understanding. Please help these children to be as you meant it to be. They too were created in your image yet something has come along to interfere with that so please restore all of these children to your image. My heart breaks for them. They are innocent. I pray for them to be set free and I pray for the families who have this in their lives it is a life your average human being does not get or understand. It is such a difficult life and those that judge them I cry out for their understanding. Lord you know if they lived just one day of their life like a family member or person with autism has lived that they would beg for forgiveness. So lord set the kids and the families free and open the eyes of those that judge them and bring conviction to their heart.
Lord, please let me be in good health. I want to live long and make many changes in the world and show the world that there are still good people out there – you know that. You know my heart, Lord. I have deceived alot of people and i know that it is not right and i am so sorry for everything that i have done i hope that god can find it in his heart to forgive me.I just want to be a good person i just dont know how to do that at all.
I graduated from college 2 years ago and I still can not find a job. In college I made some mistakes and now I have a criminal record, which has kept me from getting a good job. I have asked for forgiveness for my sins which led to the misdemeanors in my past, but still I can not pass a background check. My criminal record is only alcohol related no theft or violence and it has been over 3 years since I have been arrested.
I have been dating my girlfriend for years now and would love to marry her, but I would like to have a good job first. I have prayed almost every day for two years for GOD to let me to get a good job so I can start my life, but nothing so far. Please if you read this please pray for me. Dear Lord Jesus, my relationship is a mess. I am becoming afraid to be with John. Our kids are in the middle. We are about to move from Jersey to Florida, for a better environment, and to be closer to his son. I pray that he can stop his drinking, and his threatening ways. I am staying strong, and I do want to keep the family together but not at the cost of demaging Alicia and Jayden. Dear Lord jesus, I feel numbed and confused as to what to do. Today he drank a lot and became emotional, and scary. I admit that I started it, by telling him things that I was feeling, and my disappointment in the way he treated me, and how our vacation last week was a diaster because he drank most of the time, and wasted so much on a vacation, that if I wouldve planned it my way, we wouldn’t be in this mess that we are in. I tried to hard to let him know that his drinking is destroying us and all I got was a crazy, scary person. I want to know dear Lord, should I stay or should I go. What do I do. Lord, as you know, my wife Tammy left me and is now pushing to get our divorce done with as fast as possible. She is trying to run away and act like we were never married and move on with her life.
