Today, I woke up and had an argument with my wife. It was silly. You see, for some reason, I’m a morning person and my wife, well, she’s not a morning person. This is normally a great setup. I’ll end up having some time alone in the morning, while she is catching up on much needed sleep. Sometimes, she has trouble sleeping at night, so the morning is a good time for her to sleep. This morning, as usual, I was up working on my websites. And she was sleeping. I took care not to be noisy on the computer this morning, but she is such a light sleeper that I woke her up. She was upset that I woke her up, and I was upset that I had to go out of the room to let her sleep, so this morning it did not go as planned. I got my feelings hurt and I drove out to the park to get away. At the park, on a Monday morning, it’s very quiet. It’s such a contrast to Sunday evening. On the weekend, there’s so many people here. This morning I have been simply soaking in all of the beautiful scenery of the park and I noticed, for the first time, all of the trash left behind from everyone the day before. In the pond and streams there’s trash. Near the grills and picnic table there’s trash. From a distance the surface of the water is beautiful, but once you look beneath the surface, the water is full of trash left by many people over the years. It’s funny I have been coming to this park for almost 10 years and I never noticed the trash until now.
This is a type of allegory of my life and in some ways it may resemble your life in part, too. From a distance it appears like I’m the perfect example of a good person, but once you go deeper there’s a lot of trash that pollutes my life and the life of others. I’m selfish. I take advantage of others’ love. I’m just in it for myself. I put my desires before the desires of others. This reminds me of how God looks at us and what we should be mindful of. In 1 Samuel 16:7 God tells Samuel, “For the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart”. Let us not be concerned about so much how we appear on the outside, but us go deeper and fulfill God’s purpose for us by being who God wants us to be. I’m not saying that our outward appearance is not important, but that we can become a selfish god unto ourselves if we do not change our heart towards the desires of God’s heart. Just as people abused the blessing of the park by leaving their trash everywhere, that was how I abused the blessing of my wife by taking her for granted and not thinking of her needs before mine. Let us not abuse the blessing that God has given us with people around us and His salvation. Rather, let us be a blessing to others around us, putting them first and ourselves second. Don’t abuse the blessing God has given you.
PRAYER: Jesus, today, I give you all of my life and blessings. Teach me to value and love the people and many blessings you have given me. Teach me to not be concerned about superficial matters but rather let me be concerned with the condition of my spiritual heart. I worship you, Jesus, my savior, and give you my desires for your glory. In your perfect name I pray today, Jesus, Amen.
Do pray for my mother, Angela who is unwell at the hospital. My dad and sisters are with my mum to keep her company. She was just recovered from cancer and now she needs to keep healthy. She lose appetite recently and her back hurt so badly that she cries. She feels hard to breathe as well because of insufficient blood in her body. We are working on to get some blood. For those who reads this, do pray for my mother.

My husband, Mike, is a 56 year old pastor. He has been diagnosed with PSP, progressive supranuclear palsy. He has a 5-7 year life expectancy. There is no cure, no treatment. Jesus can heal us no matter what the doctors say or do, if you just believe. The work has already been accomplished. Our healing is part of the work Jesus completed on the cross. Pray for my long distance love. We are in our 40′s, both divorced, but we are committed and love each other, but it’s very hard to not see each other whenever we’d like. My man has already given in to temptation once, it was brief, he realized his error when I broke it off with him due to the affair. He begged for another chance and I gave him one. We are doing great, but I am concerned it will happen again as he isn’t as strong as I am in dealing with the distance.
I pray for renewed commitment on his side, that his mind and heart would be overflowed and consumed with us and our future, with thoughts and visions of me. I pray no other woman will interest him despite their efforts. We had been ridiculed for our long distance love before we got back together, so no one is aware we are together again. This has led to new issues with women who feel he is an eligible ‘catch’. The woman are shameless at times with the flirtations they post to him online and the chasing they do. I know it is about more than that with us, we are emotionally connected, yet I do have worries that I will lose him due to the distance between us. I am trying to find a job by him, which is my hometown, but it will take time. Pray for him, for us. Pray the Lord will remove from our lives all other women who are interested in him or that may interest him. Pray he wouldn’t view the distance as problematic, that he would simply focus on how perfect of a match we are and that he would not want anyone but me, not even for a fling. I worry he will have a fling and think I’d never find out, pray that won’t happen. Pray the Lord lays upon his heart to be faithful, true and honest with me, always.
I have just started school, and been back at my job for over a month. I pray to get one better. Lord knows at heart i feel like i need a new one, and want one. May my relationship with my new boyfriend Dwayne work out, and have everlasting love. Financial will we grow, and throughout life may we get better. May we come together as one, have a family, and be supportive to one another in every way. Father may he be able to come back to Georgia soon. He left to see if he could find finances. I need your prayers. I have been unemployed a lomg time and have not been able to find any steady work anywhere near where I live. I have been able to pay mi bills but have had trouble keeping up with the full car payment the last couple of months. Now the loan company is threatening respossession and I only have a few days to come up with the money. They are unwilling to assist me. I only have 10 more payments and it’s paid off. Ive just recently changed my life with God about a month ago. I did this not for my own benefit and not because things were going badly in my life , I did it just because it felt right and i am now a member of a church so i guess this prayer is about change. My change. I just want God to know that my faith is real and that i will continue to go to church every sunday morning. This up coming week will be my 4th week going and it feels great to attend the service and even better becoming a new member of it. Please pray that God will provide me a job soon. For the past 3.5 years I have been working over 80 hours a week as our company was in a downward struggle. The past 13 months we have had six layoffs and closed 3 of our 4 offices. August 18 after finishing lunch at my desk I was told my position was eliminated. I know I’m not the only person that is in need of a job and I would like for you pray for all the people in our country that are able and willing to work, to be able to find work. Sadly can no longer afford my house and am having to sell my home, & go into a small apartment. Needing a quick sale, and a good profit to allow me to have an income to keep me for awhile. Hoping & praying to find a decent apartment that I can afford and for the move to go smoothly with this. Working as hard as I can on these old arthritic knees, but it’s never enough.

Lord, today my bones and my soul broke into little pieces when I had to tell my Angel, my Mom and my Dad that I didn’t pass… Oh Lord, you’ve seen my efforts, my sacrifices, my hard work, my pain, my fears, my Parent’s devotion into my career… Lord I didn’t make it!

I am supposed to be 10 weeks 2 days today. I went yesterday to get an ultasound and they said it looks like 6 week 5 days. They looked at the heartbeat and there wasn’t any sound. I think I Might have miscarried. I have an appointment in 3 days to make sure again. I hope I didn’t lose my baby. I just hope it was a misunderstanding.

I cannot bear while typing this msg I am crying I do not know how to make understand my younger brother Nickson aged 40 years what is life He is drinking drinking and drinking what is his problems he is nto sharing with us . mummy and daddy aged 75 and 82 years they also cannot see that what Nickson is doing? Nickson is our loving brother and younger one we all were loving him but how he started drinking we do not know?
Once he theft some money along with his friends he always talking lies with mom and dadd. He is hiding something with parents.
He is married in 2007 May, but his wife is living with her parents. Now she is pregnant and she is not respecting at all to nickson, She wants our parents property on her name how it is possible. how ? She is a teacher in Kalyan convent school . She is not enquiring about Nickson always she fights with Nickson hence he started drinking more and more. How he leave addiction I do not understand lord. Lord, please help me find a job. I am a college graduate but I still couldn’t land a job. I have applied for numerous companies over the past four months and they have all turned me down. It is really unfair, they won’t even give me a chance to prove myself to them. I just don’t understand why am I getting treated this way.
I have been out of work six months and have gone on so many interviews and have been so close to getting a job. I am waiting on a response for a job and I need to get it for my family’s wellbeing. Please lord bless my family and this opportunity.

Its not just about trying to live right, God loves you so much He sent His Son to give His life for you. If you develop a seriouse relationship with the Lord and put Him first in your life and trust Him all the things you have asked for He will give you. Its good to live right but nobody can live a Godly life in his or her own strength. Put you whole trust in God because He loves you so much that if you seek first, aim for and strive after His kingdom and His righteousness, His way of doing and being right and all these things will be given to you as well.
