I am writing to ask for prayers. My soon to be sister-inlaws mother (Sharon Dean) has been battling cancer now for about a year. It first started out as cancer in her pancreas. After doing surgery to remove the cancer and having treatments, everything was very hopeful. Her scan about three months ago was good, but in the last month or so, she has been having lots of terrible back pain. She ended up having surgery on her back for a disc, but it didn’t seem to work. Due to having so much back pain, she went back to the doctor last week and they put her in the hospital in Roanoke the middle of last week. A new scan on Monday showed that she has three brain tumors (one on each side and one on the stem), all three of which are inoperable. They started a serious of radiation treatments on her Tuesday.
