2008Need your prayers
My husband has been extremely sick for the last month. There is power in prayer, through friends and family he is still here and getting better. I pray that everyone continue to pray for my husband and my family. We have just built a house and I pray that my husband gets to enjoy our new home because he worked so hard to provide a nice place for us. Please keep us in your prayers.

Dearest Lord,
I lift Cheryl and her Husband up to you. May you administer your healing grace and love down upon them. Re-fresh their minds, bodies, and spirits, renew these two servants to the healthy perfection that you have always intended them to be. In Jesus name, Amen.

Hey there,
I want to thank you. Through your prayer, God gave me me the gift of perspective, maybe I can give it back to you. I came here to pray for help on my first round of finals in law school, woke up convinced I can’t do it. Then I happened on this site, read your post, and realized how small my stress is in the grand scheme of things. I thought about your situation and realized two thing: 1. if your husband is fighting for his life, and succeeding, I can fight for my studies. 2. neither of us know the outcome but worrying about a future that is only in God’s hands does nothing but cause stress and pain. All you, me, your husband, your family and friends can do is focus on the present and rejoice because right now, your husband is fighting for his life and it seems to be working, right now I have time to study and I can’t know how I will do. All of us, you, me, your husband, can never know the future, we could all be wiped off the face the planet tomorrow from a big bomb, completely out of our control, but that is in the future, which does not exist…end of story. The future only exists in God’s hands, and his hands are huge, warm, forgiving, and loving. Everything he does, he does with good reason, and in the present, I am here, you are here, your husband is here, and this is beautiful. If all we do is focus on the future, we miss His beautiful presence right now. Right I now, God has given me the gift of time to prepare, you have been given the gift of helping your husband through a difficult time bringing you closer, your husband has been given the gift of God’s love which he can see and feel through the support of family, friends, and complete strangers like me, and I have been given the gift of perspective. These times are difficult, but looking closely, His grace is weaving them and us, all together, subtle gifts falling from his hands. If we only look to the future, we miss what we are being given right now. I thank you for your post, I pray for the gift of good health for your husband, and for strength for you, for you are in greater need than I, Amen.
Godbless,
-Tom

Lord I pray over Cheryl and her husband. I pray you take his sickness away in Jesus name. Let them expereience this house they have built together and the lives that they have with each other. Watch over them and protect them. Let them know that you are there with them always and that there is healing in your name. Amen.

Dear God,
Please bless Cheryl’s husband. Please remove the sickness from his body and heal him from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. I pray that you continue to bless Cheryl and her husband’s marriage. Continue to bind them together and give them the strength to move foward together. Bless their family. Please bless their home and fill their home with joy, peace, love and prosperity. I pray that Cheryl, her husband and her family live in heath and happiness in their home.
Lord, all is done through your mercy.
Amen
