I have so much pain in my life, sometimes it doesnt make any sense, for I am only 22 years old. I suppress a lot, and I most of the time I dont even pray to God for things to get better, I simply just thank Him, because I always feel that out of bad comes good, but as I start adding up the bad, it just gets worse and worse, and it hurts. I also ask for forgiveness because Ive been doing things that I know is wrong.
For example, I fell deeply for a person who I had dealt with for about 8 months or so, and then by the end of that I find out through other sources that he was getting married. What makes it worse is that he is my manager and so I work under him (on occassion) and see him pretty often. But everytime he sees me now, you would think that he isnt married. And Im put in positions where I cant find the will to say no to him; where we end up doing things that we’re not supposed to do; where he is forsaking his wife and I am forsaking my boyfriend, whom I love. My intentions are not to hurt anyone or to disrespect myself, i just dont understand why I cannot say no to him. I dont understand how he can violate his marriage. Im so confused. Im tired. I need help…
Heavenly Father, I first came with a heavy heart, thinking that what I’m going through now is the worst thing that could ever happen to man. But after reading all the prayers and petitions of others, I felt blessed that my problems are lighter compared to some. I thank you Lord for opening my heart and mind. Why does depression happen to a 16 year old? I’m not even an adult yet to understand what life is. All I know is that I am not happy no matter how hard I try. From my friends, to moving, to my family, my life is so horrible.

I feel everything’s falling apart now Lord. I am so alone. I just broke up with my first boyfriend 6 months ago
bec. i don’t want to commit the sin of immorality against you bec. of our relationship that was starting to become too physical.I still love him but I know i must love You more but I am still not moving on because i still see him everyday at work. The most painful thing is he has replaced me with another woman a few weeks after we broke up. He was my first love and i feel so hopeless.I am also stuck in a job that i can’t afford to let go bec. it pays well. I don’t know if i can survive and make ends meet if i am going to resign but i am really not happy with the job bec. it’s so difficult and stressful. And now my dad’s back with his drinking habit again and i am running away from home. i have not yet moved out after college bec. i feel i can’t make it on my own. My mom is miles away in Germany with her new family. I feel so alone,depressed,unloved…I don’t want to question You Lord, but i can’t help complain that life seems so unfair. Now, i feel so hopeless and lost, i don’t know where to go… Where will i stay? I cannot take it any longer staying at home with my dad who gets drunk anytime and have to deal with a lot of outbursts,the pain,shame, embarassment,anger,confusion,loneliness is too much ,i cannot take it any longer…Help me Lord, you know i tried my best to be a faithful servant and a daughter to You..But it seems i am forgotten and neglected tell me why all this? Have I done something so terrible…if so, please forgive me…I need a miracle..I don’t want to be alone and lonely for the rest of my life…please help me… Nobody loves me, my ex-boyfriend left me,my dad is sick with alcoholism that he would no longer recognize I need a father,my mom doesn’t know how much pain i am going through when she left me 15 years ago…i have to go to job everyday to face a difficult job and the painful memories of my failed relationship with my ex. How long Lord I have to go through? How long can i hang on? Money does not equal happiness, but so many that are poor are suffering because they need it. Follow your heart, but what if your heart is wrong?

I need a financial blessing, thru a job and my family back together as a unit
My wife is not happy. She has always felt like people did not appreciate her enough, long before I met her. I am older and have become painfully disabled, unable to work or sleep much, and extremely depressed. My wife blames me for everything; I am her scapegoat, though people who know me well say I am a very kind man. I am becoming sicker and sicker, yet she treats me with great cruelty much of the time (she is like a Jekyll and Hyde person), often for days on end (currently weeks). I am not exaggerating. Were it not for my teenaged boys, with whom I’ve stayed home since they were born, and my very old mother, and God’s love, I would, with regret, probably choose not to go on. I am living in constant desperation and utter heartbreak, on top of my physical pain, which never goes away. My wife could do much to help me get better–but she gets angry if I ask and screams at me. Father God, I am so sorry for my offenses. Please do not let me and my family suffer like this anymore. I simply cannot go on and I am frightened beyond words. May your will be done.
Christopher, I will pray for you but let me give you some thing to think about. You and I are in the same boat. I am in Afghanistan and when I came over here things with me and my wife were really good, sad but good. She is the type of person that needs me there to know that I am there and talking on the phone is not one of her favorite things to do so that makes it harder. What I am trying to say is, don’t be down about what is going on, your wife is just upset and I think that she lashes out on you because even though what happened to you is not your fault she is scared of loosing you forever and for her to deal with that she is lashing out. Let her know that no matter what that you are always going to be there for her and be by her side. Let her know that everything is going to be okay and that you love her no matter what. Do something for her to let her know that you appreciate her in return. Just know that everything happens for a reason, that reason may seem unfair but God has his ways to make things right.
God has blessed you with a clear mind and unfortunately the devil has planted resentment and cruelty in your wife’s heart. You must conquer this. Use the good sense God gave you and call adult protective services. This woman is doing harm to you and anyone in that household. She needs prayer, but she has got to want to change. Adult protective services can get you and your family out of this situation. I pray you have the strength to make the call.
