Husband’s addiction

my husband has sexual addiction.
I love him very much & want my marriage to wrk, but I’m tired of his ways. He doesn’t even think there’s anything wrong with his lifestlye. After being separated off & on many times, this time it’s been 6 months. he is sick, but says it’s just a cold or allegies.
But, it’s because he is a whoremonger. He doesn’t realize sin is killing him. He wants to come home. Keeps giving hints; hasn’t asked yet or confessed anything, or apologized. so even though I want & need him home, I’m not going to invite him until I’m sure he is truly repentant. I can tell he’s near rock bottom.
I just want him to act right, be faithful, get counseling, and allow God to heal our marriage.

I am not strong enough

I have been fighting addiction with pain pills for a long time now. It started innocently after medical problems but quickly turned into this addiction. I have tried so hard to quit and did quit for a year with the help of another medication but then lost my insurance and could no longer afford the alturnitive meds then had wds from that so have started the pain pills again to beat that. I feel like i am never going to get past this although I truly want to be normal again. I KNOW God can deliver me from this! I need the strength I dont know what else to do! This is not me God Please give me this.

Please pray for my brother who is addiction to alchole and creating lots of tension in our family.Really disobeys my parents and he often uses bad words with everyone.I can\’t see my parents in tears.

Dear Lord I pray for my son Trevor and for him to find the strength to beat his addiction to oxycontin. It has destroyed our lives and he doesn’t seem to ever get better. Please give him the will to live. Help our family once again be able to live normal and not in fear. He is just a young, frightened, man caught up in the evil powers of addiction. He needs you Lord. May your face shine upon him and free him from this nightmare. We need a miracle and you are the only hope we have.

Due to selfishness, addiction and a short-sighted view of what is truly important I made a horrible mistake that could cause me to lose everything that truly matters to me- including my family and my job. Please pray for me to have an opportunity to survive this and become a better man.

I promise to accept God into my life and I ask for His wisdom, guidance and strength to become a better follower of His word, a better husband and a better father. I want to be an example of what is possible when you accept God as your savior and how that change can affect others.
