| My wonderful brother Daniel has been suffering for over 11 years with a secret addiction to cold medication (dxm) found in robitussin gel caps. He takes over 20 pills at one time. Also, he has allowed doctors to diagnose him manic bi-polar and most recently skitzo-effective while still on the effects of dxm. This resulting in years of “on and off” anti psychotic meds. My brother loves the Lord, but is so lost. He is now in a rehab ranch detoxing and learning about his dxm addiction, but he needs to make his own choice to not take the psychotic meds. He doesn’t need meds, but he is addicted to taking pills. He is really messing himself up.Our family is fighting through this. He needs lots of prayer. It is very sad to see him like this. At times completely delusional. Last night he made a commitment to stop taking all meds.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for his healing and wholeness through Christ. Pray the Holy Spirit will fill his life and give him the strength to say “no.” Also, I am grateful for prayers towards the family. For God to give us wisdom as well continue to walk this path with Daniel.
I pray the Lord’s power comes into his life and he is shown great and mighty things that will cause him to STOP what he is doing. I pray victory over the enemy. I pray NO MORE! I pray the Lord’s miraculous blessing on his life. I pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and love so great he will have the strength to change In Jesus Name. Thank you for your prayer.
