Father, thank you for your love. I thank you for the depths of your forgiveness. You know my heart and everything I have ever done or thought, yet you still love me. You loved me enough to send your Son to die upon the cross for my sins. Father I thank you for the blessings that you have given me. I didn’t always realize they were blessings, until I answered your call. Father I thank you so much for my wife and children, they are wonderful blessings to me.
Father I thank you for the gift of our marriage and I place it in your capable hands. You gave us this gift and I know you want it to be wonderful and blessed. You have shown us in your word that we are not to give up and to love one another. Father we are married in your eyes and in your heart and I pray in the name of Jesus it will stay intact, be healed and restored.
Lord Jesus, I pray that you will continue to show me that things that I need to change. Things that will bring me closer to you and make me the man and husband you would have me be, one that my beautiful and beloved wife would be proud of.
Lord, show me any anger, unforgiveness, or pride I may be hanging onto. Lord you have shown me through your word how those things, things of the world may seem right, justified, and even rational, but the things of this world, of the flesh lead us away from you and what is true and right. That is how I was living my life and it left my family in ruins. I pray that you will touch both of our hearts and soften them Lord. Show us both how to come back together. You know my heart and you know you have changed who, what, and how I was. You know the true love I have for my wife. Please allow her to see the truth, that God hates divorce and that our marriage will be blessed when we follow you.
Lord I pray that you will put good godly Christian people in both of our lives that will minister to us biblically. That we will both be convicted to follow what is right, not just what we feel or what is convenient. Lord you know that I wil do anything and everything to save our marriage. I see my wife in such a different way, through your eyes. She is the most beautiful woman in the world to me, as one flesh I belong to her, we belong to each other. I pray that she will begin to look at me through your eyes.
Lord please heal and restore our marriage. Bring our wonderful family back together in your perfect timing. Pour your blessings upon my wife and keep her safe and healthy.
In your holy name, Christ Jesus I Pray – Amen
