Dear Father
Please relieve me of my debt. I have tried to the best of my abilities to walk in the path of the teachings of your Son and have shed my bad behaviors to put on new ones. I know now that I cannot make it in this world without your Grace and Guidance of the Holy Spirit. Please hear my prayer and open new doors and opportunities in my path. For without you I am nothing, but with your Grace I can be everthing.

Dear Gracious Father, my heart is so very heavy for the people of the Northeastern United States tonight as I follow the path of destruction from Hurricane Irene. Please Lord, be with those people, please let your children feel your presence and your mercy. I pray that people will unite and help one another in the aftermath and show compassion to those in need. Amen.

My Life

Please, pray for me. Pray that I do not fall far from the path of light. Pray that I have something to wake up to. My life is very miserable at this time. My fiancee left me and took our 2 year old son with her. I have not seen him or her in a long time. We have been talking a lot and keeping in touch. We’ve been trying to work on our relationship, to make our family whole again. Recently, she met a man, whom wants to be with her also. She is confused. She and my son are all I have left in this world. I am a very poor man, and I am giving up everything to move up to her and be close. Please pray that I do not lose her. Please pray that God may give me strength to rise up against my fears, and defeat them. Please pray that my move not be in vain. Pray for me. I am a broken man with nothing but faith left in God.

Not sure where you are going

Many times we feel unsure of the path we take in our lives. Just like this photo where the road seems to lead into an unknown open expanse with little understanding. It is in these roads that we can learn to listen more carefully for the leading of Jesus.

Pray with me:

Jesus, I am unsure of what lies ahead of me right now. In fact I admit I am scared and nervous sometimes, but it is in this situation that I know you are drawing me closer to you. Teach me your way and help me to understad more clearly what you want for me to accomplish for your glory. In your holy and perfect name I pray to you, Jesus Christ, Amen.

I need to believe in something again

God, I’ve spent my whole life following you, listening, and trying to live the right path. All that has gotten me is divorced with two amazing kids that I rarely get to see because their mom decided our marriage meant less than being around her parents. I have incurred unbelieveable debt and heartache these past three years and now I’ve been laid off. I barely make it when I was working, and because I’m in school I don’t qualify for unemployment benefits. I pray that something positive, and sustainable comes my way soon. I seem to have lost all faith in humanity. I really feel like a walking spirit without a soul.

I’m just fed up with everything!
