Have you seen those commercials about the happy California cows? Well, I guess not all cows in California have pasture to roam around. These cows are located in Southern California. Now I’m not an animal advocate, but these cows could use a little pasture. It does appear that they had room to move around. The cows put their heads through the metal bars to eat the hay. A housing community went up across the street, so I doubt there is much room for this farm to expand here. I imagine the farmer will eventually have to close up shop and move their operation elsewhere. They were a little skittish when I came up to them with the camera. I mounted the camera on a tripod and I bracketed three frames. One photo was 2 stops underexposed, another right on target, and the last photo was 2 stops overexposed. I then did a little HDR and I was good to go.
